If I am stacking doubles top and bottom and its to windy to throw I leave the loader bucket mid way up the top bale at the front climb the trailer headache rack and then climb on up. Not handy but then you can set them where you want them. Having multiple people is the easiest.

Not really helping with your question but if any of you ever need straps I would recommend US Cargo Control. They have a long of pre made stuff and can make any length you want. Along with chains, binders, tarps, a lot of stuff. I got along good with them.
