Maybe it was a trick question
Seems simple enough
Calif hay haulers use rope & go end to end
Montana & Wyoming guys use rope & tighten w/comealong end to end
The 1/4 inch rope & wrench is for out of shape truckers ;that don't want to wreck a shoulder
Works well on lumber & plastic pipe 13 ft high
