Good Lord I was thinking the same thing. The further from anything of value you can get the bulls to meet each other the better. Dropping them off in the center of 320 acres is a better plan. I don't even like the idea of 'fenceline' introduction. It takes a hell of a fence to keep a mature bull from walking right thru it to get to a competitor. Cattle need hierarchy. Only one way to get it. Bulls generally don't hurt each other. Its the fence, the post, the tree, ect that one throws the other into is the issue...…..

I think this is good advice. Putting a familiar steer calf in with them gives them both some more hierarchy. More room is good. I like the horse idea above ;-)

In the end it probably comes down to the two bulls involved. There's always some pushing contests but hopefully that establishes which one is in charge and life goes on.
