southern MN | Haven't had much rain at all this spring here in southern MN. Once got an inch, had a few little showers.
Just about perfect.
The strong winds have dried ouy the surface finally. The subsoil is very saturated from last fall.
Don't want it this dry all summer, that would be bad, but sure was nice planting for a change.
Could use a little dust-settling rain any time now. Better to be dry & let the roots grow deeper, than to be wet now & turn dry later on.
