Have had my LBZ for 7 years and 60k miles. Have never taken it in for an oil change. Also change it on my Prelude, did it on our Durango, and will be doing it on our Pacifica van. It gets easier after doing it a couple times. Also helps to research the process before diving in. I also sell Amsoil so I keep a filter and oil on my shelf for every vehicle I own and run 10,000 mile drain intervals. Cuts down on the 3 trips to town until you remember to get the supplies.

Make sure you are aware of any grease zerks that are usually greased at the time of oil changes by a shop
