We live in town and beating her car out to the farm and back isn’t worth it. I do the rest. Even the spare vehicle that she uses for parts and meals.
I did with her car for a lot of years and when her commute was 50 miles each way to work she had a little Buick with a cartidge filter that was a monumental pain in the rectum to get the filter out. Finally I have a buddy with a mechanic shop that told me you have to buy this special low profile socket to fit on the cartridge cap and then a 3/8 u joint for the ratchet and the right combination of extensions and it isn’t too bad. He saved me a load of time. But at that point I started contimplating if it was worth the trouble. When she traded I decided to send it to town. | |
