That's kind of my thought. I think economics rule the day no matter what hemisphere you are in. I would imagine that clearing the land is not real cheap. Then you have to have the infrastructure. It would not hurt to have some demand for all that extra crop as well. I'm sure they will expand acreage but it will happen slowly and when economic incentive presents itself.
