If you like the shank machine and just want something to run what you didn’t get done in the fall in the spring have you thought about replacing the shanks with coulters in the spring? We have a Strip-Cat that we used mole knives in the fall and swapped them out for a double Coulter setup to run in the spring. Worked well for us until we got a separate Yetter bar to run as a freshener in the spring while putting down some N and Sulpher. Just a thought.
