| Another question I have, and this may be rather basic, but do I need any GPS data at all going to the 700? If the 1240 has its own wheel speed monitors, (which it does), would it operate with no GPS signal going to it at all? I am new to the planter and 700. I know from aircraft, that flight plans ect will transfer from one GPS to the next via RS232, so is the jist of running that interface so the "field and mapping" showing on the 750, shows up on the 700? I figured it was simply for speed calculations so the population would be correct. | |
