100 lbs of corn at 20% has 20 lbs of water in it. Dry it to 15%, and you have 14.11 lbs of water left. So, you lost 5.89 lbs of water in the drying process. If you always fill to legal capacity, you can get the same amount grain to town in 17 dry loads or 18 wet loads.
