Burlington, IA | Hi boog,
Maybe it'll quit raining one of these days, and no one will have time to worry about computers for awhile. I'm not sure if you're using your router with satellite, cable, or dialup, but here's one more thing you can try. Our router is set up with broadband through the cable company. I found out when things started slowing down, they said the router needs to resynch with the cable once in awhile, so when it starts to get slow, they said to unplug the power to the router for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and let it resynch. They said it even helps to pull the power plug on the cable internet box occasionally, too, as it needs to update itself after they do changes in cable broadband updates, or whatever. Pulling the plug on the router definitely seems to help us. It's worth a try if you haven't done that yet. But, what do I know?
Good luck,
