Brazilton KS
We have the first two tractors we bought....a 4010 and a 4430.

Our tractor fleet ranges from 1963 through 2000, with the heaviest concentration around '94-6.

Our big tractors will likely be here working when we quit. They are perfectly functional and I don't see anything new offering any bona-fide advantage to crop production. I would like to have another 100 hp in them, but it's not worth trading to get it. We don't put enough hours on any tractor to realistically 'wear it out'...especially the big frame Cats which will run to 20k hours. In the past, we have mostly traded because we weren't smart enough to buy big tractors to begin with. Also, we have bought some which were well advanced into their life before they arrived here.

The 4430 will certainly be here until we are done.
