I use OpenOffice, which I understand is somehow related to Libre Office, although I'm not clear on exactly how. Anyway, I have the option to save as different file types, so that others can open the file if they use MS Office. When you 'save as' try changing the file extension in the drop-down box at the bottom and see if you can put it in an appropriate format.

I thought I tried that with no success. Today I looked again and I could have saved it with various extensions. No one complained about not being able to open it so the .odt must have been OK. |
