Western-Central Lower Michigan | Go to this site (ninite.com) and under the DOCUMENTS column download libre office (free). This is an office program that is identical to MS OFFICE. It has spreadsheets, word processing etc.
Now if you just need simple word processing every Windows installation has Wordpad. Depending on your edition of Windows, find it and create a shortcut to the desktop. Its only for simple word processing, but very functional.
Also if the tech "reinstalled" Windows 7, it may have made your computer think you had just bought it. Often Microsoft gives a free trial of MS Office, hoping you will use it and buy it. If you dont need it, just ignore the warning. Its only meant if you are using the program, and want to continue to do so. Then you would BUY it from microsoft (and you would get a keycode from Microsoft to continue to use it). By downloading Libre or Open Office you would have 99% of the same functions for free.
