north central Oklahoma | If you are getting x39 cheaper than $300/k, .223 for $400/k, and .308 for $500/k, plus shipping, you are doing good. I have seldom found gunbroker to have that good of deals, unless you surf constantly and cherrypick. Last I bought any of those, they were running $80/k on 223, $70/k on x39, and $90/k on .308. Pickup was laboring on the way home, but I was afraid this was going to happen. As they say, the cure for low prices "is" low prices, and those were as low as I had ever seen, and I loaded up. The ony reason x39 has not jumped as exponentially as .308 is the surplus sources for .308 has dried up completely, and we still have the COMBLOC countries exporting x39 to us. One of these days, there will be a great find in some foreign country of old .308, but it will now go for the new higher price. Taking bets on that.
