Interesting read and a seismic shift. Today the USD (and petrodollar) are the world reserve currency. 80 years ago it was the British pound. Before that in history the Italians had a reserve currency, the Dutch, and Spain. Times change and nothing on this earth is forever.
IMHO, the belief that the US is "the only game in town" is sliding down that slippery slope and accelerating. The crash at the bottom of the ravine might be spectacular. Time will tell.
