I've got 85 in confinement.. mine are on saw dust and I plow it 5 days a week instead of hauling a bunch of manure all the time. I do one major cleanup a year with a small cleanup every other week.. that's one or 2 spreader loads.. if you could figure out a ration with a lot of corn stalks and dist. Syrup plus a few other things it would work fine.. but it's not easy and there are headaches but there is with everything.. You want to talk call me sometime.. 1502five. 0 seven five 4 zero three.. good luck

This is sort of my point. You spend more time plowing your shed than i spend feeding my cattle 6 months out of my the year.

I have no shed for my stock cows. Right now I feed them every other day. They get 60 cents worth of supliment running on stalks. So 30 cents per day or $9/month. THis will last for 3 months if lucky.

Last year I hauled 10 loads of poop for 70 stock cows.

Least cost producer wins every time.
