I'm pretty close to where your at in terms of equipment. It's with not a little frustration that I see Trimble continues to charge roughly $13,000 for just the AutoPilot. The task controller is the real killer at 8K.
Either I'm really missing out on something by not having it or Trimble is way off base with their pricing structure. I could buy four ez-guides, three ez- steers or some combination in between, and have some leftover to go on vacation.
