| Well, I'll be the eternal optimist here. Got beans that have laid in dry dirt for three weeks now because the ground had to be worked twice to deal with great big weeds, and they are still sprouting here and there. But I read on NAT that a decent frost makes for great soybeans, so they've got a fighting chance at being the rock stars come harvest. *****
On a serious note, there are some issues in this neighborhood but the majority of crops here look better than at this point in 2013 or 2015 seasons which is not reflected by the current satellite map there, so I guess I don't know what to make of it. We are certainly way behind what the vegetative growth was for 2014 or 2016.
