The soil temp was 70+ a few days ago.... warmer now.... A little 55 deg water won't cool it for long!

Field is very clean (...just spent 10 hrs with a hoe, gettin what the tiller missed!).... so ZERO herbicide applied so far... ...watering will flush up another round of weeds... gonna hafta get a preEmergent on - pretty quick...!

And I like the No-Till, No-Planter, No-Seed-Dealer solution !!! !!!!! Sounds like my kinda farmin !!!!!!

A few years ago, some farmers with cattle would fly wheat seed onto Corn - b4 harvest!! Made pasture OK..... Sure looked funny, with sprouts up and down some corn plants, wherever a seed lodged....
