Reason I asked about N source is it seems in my case that a broadcast N source never works as good as a band of AA either in wheat stubble or heavy rye cover. Maybe wrong but my thinking is broadcast is less concentrated and is exposed to more residue and being tied up where as the band is more concentrated and exposed to less residue for tie up. Don't shoot me for my thoughts, just what I have found that works for me.
