Soil generally weighs 120 Lb/Cubic Foot

So 43560 X 1 ft X 120 Lb/Cubic Foot divided by 2000 = 2600 ton +-

In the grand scheme of things you added calcium

Soil stabilization with hydrated lime and water generally takes 5% of soil volume for roadways

Gypsum application no way near that amount and I agree with your skepticism

Amazing to me how many byproducts are marketed for use in highways and if that doesn't sell, try selling it to farmers next
