If your Mg levels are only 14% I'm doubtful you will see a return on investment with gypsum. My Mg levels are 35%+ here on the opposite corner of the state and I don't think it is hurting my yields. Tillage radishes would work good but in Iowa they don't get enough growth after corn or beans to do any good. Trying some cereal rye would be your best bet in my opinion.
