Stihl MS440 that I love, and a vertical/horizontal 20 ton splitter that I bought from Northern Hydraulics about 10 yrs ago. Paid a bit extra to get the Honda motor and no regrets. Haven't met a log yet that I couldn't split with it with a little ingenuity.

Use an old New Holland manure spreader as my wood hauler. Took the beater out of the back - unload most of it manually, but back up to my basement and run the apron to finish emptying.

Wood is my main heat with LP back-up. 500 gal. tank gets filled only every other year - and we have a gas stove.

I almost have Granto the Magnificent talked into buying an MS441.
