NWND | I have went over our expenses. Family of 4. Close to 60k per year. But I have also went through and we have cut out about $1000 a month for this next year. Most of that cut came from different deductible for health ins. The rest was cutting back on tv, phone, changed deductibles on cars, internet. Didn't cut any of these out but went to minimum plans. Our house is paid for so no mortgage. We also put about $1500 a month away in IRA's and mutual funds between the two of us. So if times get too tight we could scale back there also. But I would really like to keep putting away for retirement. As others have said it is expensive just to live comfortable. | |
