The issues are highly technical in nature, but the sound bites got politicized along the way.  99% of what you hear about this is from people who have no idea what they are talking about.  I have read extensively on the matter and talked to several industry insiders, and I have to include myself in that 99%. Good or bad?  Invariably the devil is in the details and as of yet we have few details.The new farm bill is simple compared to this stuff.
