Starbuck Manitoba Canada | W1891, I believe that Von is right in having gold as a form of currency especially in a state of anarchy. There will be very poor people and there will be people that live a more comfortable life that will have resources available for trade. Those people will most certainly take gold in trade.
I however do not believe that the end of this comfortable life that we live is not about to end tomorrow. So as for now gold may not be a great thing to hold as it seems to be retracing to a lower level. Having said all this I could see many reasons for holding 5 - 10 ounces currently. | |
