Why wouldnt it stay frozen longer if the wind is keeping it colder?

you do understand that wind chill only effects things warmer or cooler then the air temp. your ice cube would melt faster in 33 mph wind then sitting in a bucket.
a thermometer is the ambient air temp, so driving down the road with the meter out the window it will not change.
you do know that 32 is freezing? and 33 mph wind on the lake even below freezing might not freeze because of the movement.
I sure hope you guys are just having fun other wise I am really surprised at some of the thoughts on this topic. |
