| Well, it depends on a lot...Mainly, the specs of the engine, and so, the block heater. But, obviously, a larger cubic inch engine is usually going to be "bigger" (6cyl vs 6cyl/4cyl vs 4cyl)...My Allis D17's D262 is roughly 3/4 of the size of the Case 930's 401D. The 930 actually has two "in block" heaters (not freeze plugs), the D17 has one "in line" heater.
I will add, the most important factor is probably the coolant capacity...A smaller engine can have greater coolant capacity simply due to the size of the radiator. A larger coolant capacity means more liquid to heat, thus, taking longer.
