Woodham, Ontario
We use a skidsteer with a normal bucket on the front. You fill the bucket a little and it will push the rest in as you drive by and then you just turn and dump what was in the bucket. We push up feed at the beginning and end of all milkings (3X milk) That skidsteer is also used to clean up refusals everyday. We have multiple barns so a skidsteer makes way more sense. Put 1000 hours on it a year. It is also used to bed straw pens, but does not scrape manure. We have another skidstter for that that scrapes all the slats every milking and levels the deep stalls at night and puts in bedding in the afternoon. 1000 hours a year on it too. We would need at least 3 Junos and 4 or 6 slat scrapers.... skidsteers are much cheaper and don't get lost.
