You know, I just can't recall everything but it sounds like you might be right on the edge of treating for first gen. We used to have really good results with a granular product on first gen, when ground applied it was directed to the whorl. If your not finding them in the whorl yet, there might be time. Have you got a local agronomy guy that you like to work with? If so, give him a call. Just a thought.
