I suppose most of us at 25 years old thought we had the knowledge and experience to run a sizeable operation. I assume that your dad had some tough years from time to time and has blood and sweat into this operation. You must first understand where your dad is coming from and this is his "baby".
1st you and your dad need to talk about how he plans to implement you into the operation as the mgr vs employee and draw out a plan.
There is a few operations in the area where the sons start from the ground up working ground, spray, etc and then into the planter.
Your dad needs for you to grow into the operation and make decisions where you are comfortable in bouncing a solution off your dad and he has the patients and where with all to have a responsible discussion.
