Dougherty, IA | I understand that, and I agree that most don't have 2 nickels to rub together. However, if you are working and saving towards a goal as part of a plan, you can put money away to invest in the farm.
I also said to live on the income from the 9-5 and reinvest all farm profits.
It all depends on your income level and expenses. My wife and I are both blessed with good paying jobs. We live on one income, save the other income for a farm down payment, and re-invest all farm profits. We like this plan and it seems to be working well for us.
