Subject: RE: update on tragic hunting accident

NC Iowa

sorry for the loss of your friend. a tragedy and a horrible thing for all involved. i know nothing about this gun, but it does sound like they have trigger issues with some of them. unloading any gun is a time to use special caution. the one thing i remember about my training is to never never point a weapon at anything you don't intend to kill. not saying there wasn't an issue with the gun, but if that rule was followed, the outcome would have been different. the group i shoot with is mostly former military and well schooled in safety, otherwise i wouldn't shoot with them.

there are safety issues with almost everything we work and play with. almost everything could be made safer. just have to think safety all the time.
