1) If you don't know whether it is BS you probably shouldn't be repeating it.
2) Things like write downs do happen. I practiced law for 30 years and I know that typically there are non-disclosure clauses in the write-down agreements. If you know for a fact that it happened you or somebody probably violated their contract.
3) I knew you had some things wrong when described this initially because there are lending limits on FSA loans. It is pretty hard for a BTO to get very far with FSA/FHA.
4)I noticed you still haven't Answered Noah's question. If are a farmer you are incredibly naive about how real estate purchases work. I don't care how many buildings a farm has on it you are going to add more to an income tax problem than taking it away.
