I call BS on that whole story. I the guy got with the write down without going jail and all kinds of investigations that is one thing. But how to buy a farm and have it your income tax problem. It just doesn't work that way. Land doesn't give you enough depreciation to cover your principle payment and you can't to 179 much that come with the farm.
