NW central IL | ok, it was setup that way, not built that way. mine was from my first kinze, and im going back a few of years, prob pre 2000ish. (first year for the 3000 series)maybe everyone is alittle smarter now then they were back then, but no one had a easy solution at the time. I thought I remember'd them changing a few things, but that was along enough time ago that the memory gets blurry on he details. just sad I guess to hear guys still having them problems and theres some dealers out there making these guys dread folding a planter each time, between that and breaking a lot of the depth adjustment yokes (the silver cast part) it was a love-hate relationship with my first one
