I fully understand what you are saying and I know the feeling. I did not know much about any of this till the financial crisis of 07-08. I had kind of got lazy with my investments and was not paying a lot of attention. Decided I needed to start paying more attention. It is then when I started learning about the same things you are talking about. We have been fed a big line of BS for a long time. Edit: Prior to the internet, all we had was friends and neighbors with which to talk about this stuff. That very much limited our exposure to information outside of mainstream media. The internet allows a lot of crap to come out in the open that could have been covered up before. The small number of people that "get it" have allies now, with a much broader range of exposure to alternate ideas. Sure there is also a lot of crap on the internet. That is where a person uses thoughtful discussion, like on this board, to seperate the wheat from the chaff. John
