Paul, what NRD are you in? I heard one of the Blue basins were going to require meters on wells next year or so. 9" allocation cost us big time out here this year. If we have average rainfall of 18-20" we can get by pretty good. No subsoil moisture going into spring and less than 10" of rain in the past year and our yields really suffered. Best we have had so far is 170 bu. There's going to be a lot of pivots barely make 100 if they have small wells. Normally we can hit 200 fairly easily.
The guys to the west where the water declines are the worst around Imperial just keep mining their water supply and pulling off 250+ bu. yields.
