Adams County
33,000 plants per acre equate to one plant every 6.28 inches in 30 inch rows, or approximately 57 plants in a 30 ft strip. I gave you the other #'s. Test weight is the variable, as is cob with kernel length which is the other variable in their formula. Variables need to be accurately defined for a conclusion. Conclusions are only possible with a thoroughly tested hypothesis, which requires totally unbiased experimentation. Observations of the experiment are critical and fundamentals for those seem to be lacking at best. Seems like a party atmosphere for these pro farmer guys, but it is very personal for me since markets seem to respond to their findings. Would love to call their boss and report shortcomings in performance based on personal observation from the outside. Draws a good parallel.
