Hey guys,

Maydel, I think the line is a center. Yesterday, price popped its head back to it, and do the hot potato touch. Part of my reason for posting. Also, notice how on this last push, price is having difficulties of acheiving the cyan A1. Pretty typical of a market needing to pullback. When I drew this set many weeks ago, I have to be honest. I thought, there isn't no way price will be able to achieve that outer line(black). I let my bias get the best of me. Touche'!

Fry, sounds like a great plan. Haven't been over to the field for years, not even sure if its still there to be honest, but I am sure it was a cash cow for a lot of years. Won't be able to help you with your total sales volumes though! We posted mirror bars yesterday, a sign of an unstable market, and there is 5 evident waves for people counting waves. That with price beginning to curl, and no longer attain the lines, gives a clue of a market needing a rest. Personally, I am waiting for a pendulum pullback, but there are several to choose from, and each will have their own makings. For corn that has to be priced this fall, and isn't yet, I will try and sell the smaller pullback. I would love to see 5.30 - 5.40 challenged, but not sure that's gonna happen by pricing time. I am kicking around ideas to capture some of the pullback, maybe selling puts....? Not sure yet. Then you have the bigger swing, which really needs to be watched over on the continuous. That one will be the one to unload anything unpriced, and likely sell '14 crop pretty hard as well. But not expecting that til next summer myself.

Maydel, when do you start harvest up there? I saw a post from somebody in Ontario yesterday, that said he was starting. What's first, canola, oats etc.? Not even sure what you grow up there besides snowflakes and big pike! We like to get running here by Oct. 1st, but it seems unlikely at this point. Corn is running at least 2.5 weeks behind, and the beans didn't get planted til mid june, so unless diseases become an issue, there won't likely be any early beans either.

Take Care
