Shelby, MT
I predict that John Deere will start to have some problems related to what GM is going through now. I believe that John Deere has reduces its dealer network too much, and crippled the existing ones. Also it seems there focus in more on lawn and garden than Ag. JD never comes out with an idea of their own...They are not leading just keeping up...all this spells disaster to me.

For Case/NH....I think that the NH government is going to slowly choke the Case/Flexicoil engineering and development to death.

the Cat/Agco could be our only resort left....Cat is not cheap but cat is industrial....and cat dealers seen to look like they will still be here in the future...

as an industry as a whole...I can't figure out what the future is with less farmers and bigger equipment....as a basic productivity stratigy....we can't have a one car family we need a four car family and so on...in the Ag industry we have gone from a 2 combine family to a 1 combine county..... The industry is building themselves out of business...it has been going on for a long time but equipment is now to the size and quality to cause real trouble....

Just my opinion....if I could predict the future would I really be farming..
