South east Saskatchewan | the case powershifts worked fine for us for the past 40 years. Sure they can have problems but it never was a big issue. We had them in Case 1070, 1270, 2290,2470,2670, 4890 with some issues over the years but not that bad. The problem today is that the repairs on the transmission / pwershift can run more than the tractor is worth. that's been the demise of these units. The 504 engines are good. | |
