Subject: Don't bet on a late planting season

NC Missouri
Easter is VERY early this year and since it is tied to the moon change is fairly reliable as indicating a "likely" early planting season. And with the size of planting equipment and round-up sprayers a "general" late planting system is HIGHLY unlikely. I read some statistics last year that showed when revenue potential was high farmers got there crops planted on time (even if it suffered a later yield drag from planting in the mud).
Now the subject of DROUGHT has serious price scaring potential. I believe E. Taylor already is projecting slightly below normal yields. But if crops go in early that potential is greatly diminished in my opinion.
