We do end up with a percentage of light pigs at the end of the turn and as long as they are in decent shape (look like a pig) tyson will take them. I think they go to specialty markets or get grown out by someone else. As far as I know we still get a reasonable price for them.

Our great economy has really made the amateur butcher deal much more popular (and it's just part of being a hog farmer). I have several folks I can call if we have a pig I have to put down that we don't need. They usually drop everything to come and get it.
