If I piled up a bunch from the fall that were pretty green, I usually wait till its a tad to wet to do field work and then go burn them. Then they have had some time from the good dry spring winds to dry out some. We use paper feed and seed bags to get the fires going. And keep a loader around to keep pushing the pile up and keep it tight.
