regarding your theory of young farmer opportunities: from what I have seen of this re-distribution of family owned farms due to death and taxes, usually the land is bought up by an investment group or deep pockets....not some small, young, start up farmers. When it is no longer a viable income producing asset, that is when the deep pockets go away.....
