I guess I am just a contrarian. I put more inputs on the poor ground to bring it up to the good. It is easier to raise 100 bu corn to 150 than to raise 240 to 290. Some years water can be limiting here.


Do you grid soil sample? Your poor ground will already have the most fertility.
