EC Nebraska | If the only aglime in you can get has magnesium in it, than I wouldn't put it on. You've got plenty of Mg already. A ton of calcitic aglime would be fine, but I don't think pH is your limiting factor. Are you putting any sulfur on? if not, I'd strongly recommend adding it to your program. Either 100-150 lb AMS on the corn, or maybe a 200-300 lb of gypsum/year on corn or beans. If you can get potassium sulfate that'd be a nice way to put on K. | |
