Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot
I agree with reloading being addicting!

Some brass has different case capacities, so it is a good idea to stick with one brand. Any common brand of brass should be fine. How many times you can load depends upon how hot you load. There isn't really a good reason to load real hot loads anyway, most of my most accurate loads are in the middle range. I've loaded a lot of my .308 brass and .223 brass up to 10x's. I try and keep it in lots so I know how many times, after 10 or if the cases start to stretch a lot, I just load them up with cheap bullets and put it in the 'just in case' ammo supply. Lots of once fired brass out there cheap.

You will have to trim the cases on your rifle brass. An outfit called Possum Hollow makes the slickest case trimmers out there. They make an adapter you can put in a drill. I chuck mine in the drill press and you just insert the case into it, hold for a second or two and it is trimmed to the correct length. Makes case trimming (a dull task) go pretty quick. I'd also recommend buying RCBS X dies. They will hold the case length, so you usually only need to trim once.

Only thing to watch for on brass is if it has a crimped primer seat that might need to be reamed out. Not a big deal, but it is usually only common in military surplus brass, in .223 or .308. I've never seen it in .25-06.
